Tim and Robin were very sweet and helpful but not intrusive. In other words, if you need them they are there but they respect your space and privacy. Beautiful lake, patio and a peaceful getaway from bustling Chicago but only a short ride away from the loop, if you get the urge to hit the city.

What a very lovely stay we had in our cabin at Ol Pine Lodge! Tim and Robin clearly poured heart and soul into making this lakeside retreat a truly magical corner of the universe.

Tim and Robin were exceptional hosts- very communicative, welcoming, and everything we needed was provided. The property was great too, private with beach access and a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, all amenities provided and then some! Thanks for a great time, we’ll definitely be back.
