The accommodations were better than what was pictured! David who was assigned to help us during the stay was so kind he brought us waters, local coffee and sugar. Finding the exact apt/house in the complex was a bit difficult. But David responded quickly sending a video that guided us straight to the apt. I highly recommend they start sending this video when they send the check in directions! AC in all rooms was a plus. We did have an internet outage for a short period but again David quickly responded and fixed the issue! this was a great stay for our girls trip. I would definitely stay and recommend this spot to anyone traveling to Tulum. I would suggest getting a car since this location isn’t near the hotel zone. However if you have a bike you can ride to numerous spots located outside of the complex.

We rented this apartment for a week and it was awesome! The location worked well for us as we had rented a car--there was plenty of parking and it felt very safe. We didn't end up walking from the airbnb, but there is a really nice grocery store and some restaurants very close by. The space was gorgeous--a good balance of aesthetic beauty and utility. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable which I really appreciated. We loved the kitchen--made smoothies every morning with the nice blender. The pool was so lovely--there is a sun shade which helped with protecting us from the sun, falling leaves and added privacy. It was a small pool, but worked well for relaxing.The building itself was pretty quiet--we only heard neighbors a few times and it was just music/kids playing. We couldn't hear any street traffic or construction. The spot was a little confusing to find in the dark (i brought a flashlight but there was good visibility from the garden lights), so just plan accordingly.

We had an amazing time at Diego's place! We went down for a vacation and to work remotely for a few days and it was the perfect location to do so. The AirBnB is exactly as the pictures and we loved how quiet and private the space was. The only issue that came up for us the first day we arrived was the power going out intermittently for the first ~12 hours or so but this was nothing to do with our AirBnB - the power was out for the entire community (likely due to construction? But the locals told us it was not common to happen so it was just fluke timing for us!). The rest of the week we had no issues with power or internet and all 4 of us were able to take video calls with no problems - the perfect "WFH" set up! Would absolutely recommend staying here and would be happy to do so again :)

First night we were mistakenly locked out due to us not being informed of a button placed behind the door. The button appears to be an extra safety for when inside the Airbnb which we was never informed. I reached out to the host who was David, at 12:08am who showed up to assist but David himself couldn’t get into the place and wanted to take us to another place without our property passport etc & got upset when we said no, took a plant pot and broke a window. We slept like that for 2 days without any fuss, on the 3rd day he sent maintenance who burst out the entire window and expected us to slept like that. Miss communication and without trying to be considerate to the guest Diego the owner immediately said we need to leave he had enough of us. David also screen shot my what’s app picture and mistakenly sent to me which he obviously meant to send someone else at that point my safety was questioned. From day 1 I message Diego & NEVER got a reply until he decided to cut our stay.
