Elsa’s place is a renovated old Algarve house with a combined living room/kitchen and a bedroom/bathroom upstairs. The area is relatively calm; there is no noise from cars, but many neighbors have dogs that bark at night. Our dog was constantly triggered by the barking. The fenced yard is shared with guests from another Airbnb and Elsa’s family. The location is very good, and the proximity to the highway makes many places in the Algarve easily accessible. We spent two weeks at this Airbnb and were generally happy. However, one issue that bothered us was the neighbors' dogs, which were unleashed on the street. I realized this one day when I wanted to go for a run. As soon as they noticed me, they started barking and running towards me. We reported it to Elsa, who said we should not worry and that they had never bitten or attacked anyone. Yet, the same dogs occasionally entered the yard at night. I just think some people should know this before booking.

If you’re interested in experiencing the real Algarve, away from the usual busy tourist areas, this place offers that. It’s a basic cottage, rustic and simple but with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is small but well stocked for cooking. The lighting in the kitchen could be better, especially over the stove. There is a small outdoor area beside the house for sitting or eating, as well as the pool area by the main house where you can lounge in the sun. We used the pool several times and it was cool but refreshing after biking or hiking. There are many dogs in the area and we were woken up once but generally not a problem as the house has thick walls and sound is muffled. There are hiking trails you can walk to from the house. We had road bikes and the area is very hilly but with quiet roads. Overall we enjoyed the time we spent there and would recommend it. Bring your own dish soap and garbage bags.

Alojamiento ideal para pasar unos días con tu mascota y pareja en el algarve si lo que te gusta son las zonas rurales y relax. Está ubicado a las afueras de los atractivos turísticos pero en 20 minutos llegas fácil a muchos puntos y a las playa mas cercana. A nosotros nos ha gustado mucho, la zona muy tranquila, y cómo llevábamos nuestro coche no había problemas para el desplazamiento. -El único problema que hemos encontrado es que no funcionaba el aire acondicionado para calor, ya que hacia algo de frío pero con la estufa pequeña nos hemos calentado bien.

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft! Das kleine Häuschen hat alles, was man zum Verweilen braucht. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Elsa ist super freundlich und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt 👍🏻
