This home on the Wye River was "all that and more" for our adult family. We all thoroughly enjoyed the expansive river-front property for fishing (croakers and crabs, released), bird watching--bald eagles, osprey, swallows, etc. (right next to the Pickering Creek Audubon Center) and, of course, those awe-inspiring sunsets each evening. The pool was a delight which was serviced once a week. The outside is well thought out and perfectly equipped (tables, lounges, umbrellas, awnings, kayaks, gas & Webber grills, Adirondack chairs by the river under two gorgeous old Oak trees, etc) with a beautiful manicured lawn that seems to go forever. The inside is as fabulous. SPOTLESS! It's beautifully and comfortably decorated with beautiful views. Each bedroom has its own thermostat, perfect for us families that have different sleeping needs. The beds are very comfortable. The shower in the master bath is a spa in itself! (Must share!) Great kitchen! A delightful stay that I can't say enough about!
