We're thrilled to share our home with you and help make your Icelandic adventure unforgettable. You'll love our location just a short drive from the city center, with stunning walking paths along the coastline and nearby mountains. After a day of adventure, relax and unwind in our private thermal pool, exclusively yours to use during your stay. And if you're lucky, you may even spot the northern lights from your bedroom window! Welcome to our beautiful family home in the Reykjavik capital area! Our space of approx. 300 square meters is all yours to enjoy, including multiple bedrooms, bathrooms (2 WC and 2 showers. The 2nd shower is in the pool) and common areas. The house has 3 full bedrooms, one with a king bed, other with a small twin bed and the third one with a single bed. In addition, there are other 2 rooms that cannot be closed with a door but still offer a good level of privacy. One of them has a double sleeping sofa. The other one is our hobby room which has a comfortable long sofa with a big TV. In this room, we place a double air mattress on the floor. Our swimming pool is 12 meters long (suitable for swimming) and at the end a barrier is put to create a hot tub, which can be hotter than the rest of the pool. The pool has a ceiling and a door to go outside and enjoy some fresh air, can be accessed just in front of the pool.

Carolina's place is to be recommended! Very spacious and nicely furnished, plus the pool as a big bonus. We immediately felt at home. Communication is very quick and easy. Instructions were clear and the place is close to amenities. You can do many things in the surroundings, there are the fjords, the mountains and the city isn't far either. If you are lucky, you can even see the Northern Lights.
my family had a great time in Iceland . Carolina was an amazing host. she gave clear instructions when it came to the pool/hot tub. Her home was very cozy. it worked perfectly for my kids, being there were some toys in the kids' room for the kids to play. we just had to place something in front of the stairs going to the downstairs only because my son is 1. The location was great. we saw an amazing display of the northern lights right in her backyard, which she also was quick to inform us of. It was about 15 min from the city of Reykjavik and a grocery store 3 min away. It was truly an amazing time. we loved the experience and appreciate Carolina for letting us use her home to enjoy Iceland
We had a wonderful time at Carolina's beautiful home. The location is excellent, only 15 mins from downtown Reykjavik, but with everything you could need right on the doorstep. The house was clean, warm, and spotlessly tidy, with everything a family on holiday could need. We booked it because of the pool, and it did not disappoint! The kids absolutely loved it, we could hardly get them out to go sight seeing!
My friends and I had an amazing time in Carolina’s home. The location is peaceful and the views are stunning. The pool was also a nice addition! We were lucky enough to see the northern lights rights outside her home! We appreciated how responsive and friendly Carolina was. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay again if we get the chance in the future!
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. It was spacious, well equipped, clean and welcoming. The house is in a quiet location with beautiful views of the mountains. The swimming pool was an added bonus! The house is about twenty minutes by car from the centre of Reykjavik and although we had a car, we occasionally used public transport which was a great option. Our host Carolina was very helpful. We would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Reykjavik area. Peter

In just a 7 minutes walk from our property, you can reach the ocean and a small black sand beach. Also there are beautiful walking paths along the coastline perfect for a walk or run.
The mountains can also be accessed relatively easily. One of them, can be climbed in less than 2 hours starting the hike from our property.
And the public swimming pool of the neighborhood with different slides for the kids, as well as saunas and different hot tubs, can be reached after 12 minutes walk.
Supermarkets, pharmacy, doctors, a small village center can be reached by foot after 15 minutes walk.
Downtown Reykjavik can be easily reached by car (15 min drive) or by public bus (the bus stop is very closed to the property).
Last, it is very easy to leave the city from our home being at one of the ends of Reykjavík’s living area so that a drive to the national park þvingvellir for example, only takes 30 min time.
This location makes the property a great place to spot some northern lights as there is little light pollution.
