Located next to Ozark Forest Mushroom's Shiitake Mushroom Farm at Timber Farms the Sinks, The Mushroom Loft House is a one of a kind getaway for agrotourism fans! Next to the house is the incubation shade house for the shiitake mushroom logs, the outdoor laying yard and the winter production greenhouse as well as a large summer garden and 2-season moveable greenhouse. Set along the Sinking Creek Valley, it is a 1 minute walk away to Sinking Creek, access to swimming and a gravel beach! The Mushroom Loft House comprises the entire house which can be used separately (each floor having its own entry, kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedrooms) or the house can be used together. The ground floor is entered from the front of the house via the covered front porch or from the back door. It comprises a living room (with a full sofa bed), dining room, bathroom, commercial kitchen and a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed with a full sized mattress on the lower bunk. The 2nd floor of the Mushroom Loft House has its own private entry or can be accessed from the lower level bedroom. The interior stairs take you up to an open living room-dining room loft with a fold-out sectional sleeper sofa and a queen-sized bed. To the right it opens out to a deck overlooking the creek and to the left it opens into the loft kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen looks out over the incubation shade house and is a newly modern fitted kitchen, well stocked with coffee pots. The spacious bathroom has a bathtub with shower. The "back yard" comprises a grassy bench area along Sinking Creek with a picnic table and fire circle.
