Fonte Fria is a beautiful house, fully equipped , spacious and with stunning garden and terrace. We stayed one week as two families with kids and we loved the place. Helena and her mother have been very helpful and kind all the time and they made us feel at home. We had a great time at this beautiful house and we totally recommend it.

Our family of four had a really enjoyable stay at Fonte Fria Country House. Both the house and the grounds are well kept and very private. Helena and her mother was really serviceminded helping us get the most out of our stay. She recommended activities and places to visit as well as where to get groceries and which restaurants to visit. The house is spacious and has several common rooms in addition to the bedrooms. The garden and pool area is also a really nice asset. All kitchen amenities for cooking etc are available if you prefer to cook your own food. However, there are several restaurants in the local town. We would recommend Sabores do Campo (São Brás). Recommend having a car both for shopping and exploring the Algarve area.

Fonte Fria is a stunning place to stay. Beautiful, characterful and spacious. The building, the rooms, the grounds, the pool, the terraces and the surrounding area are all fantastic! We stayed, as a group of two families, with an age-range from 12 to 78 and everyone fell in love with the place. It is such a special place. With the comforts, space and facilities of a great hotel, coupled with the warmth, richness of detail and history of the much loved home it has been. Helena (and her Mum) is an equally wonderful host. Thank you so much for making us all feel so welcome, Helena, and for sharing your magical ‘Fonte Fria’ with us. We will be back!
