The house is a a few doors down from a lovely coffee shop called ‘Hucks’ that does great coffee, pastries and Sourdough toasties. Next to Hucks is a pharmacy and convenience store. we are also just a few minutes walk to ‘Walthamstow Village’ ok Orford Road which is a pretty pedestrianised street full of restaurants (Eat17), great pubs (Queens Arms), two wine bars, Fish and Chips, Smoothie bar and beautiful boutiques to buy gifts. It has a great atmosphere. There are some of the oldest buildings in London to look at as you walk round, and we are less than 15 minutes walk to Epping Forest, for nature walks. Even closer just around the corner is the ‘Castle’ pub serving good food all day, and family friendly. There is so much to do in the local area, but being of fb the main road it is also lovely and quiet, and less than 10 minutes from Walthamstow Central Underground station. The local cinema is close to the tube, and a little further afield is a brilliant ‘climbing wall’.

Travel into central London and the City is super easy with Walthamstow Central underground station approx 10 minutes walk. the Victoria Line will take you to Kings Cross, Oxford Circus (Oxford Street) or Victoria station. The Overground will take you directly to Liverpool Street station (the City of London). There are numerous good bus routes at the end of our road taking you directly into Shoreditch/Hackney/the West End. The transport is so good nearby you don’t need a car.
