The following are my personal opinions. You may think otherwise. Mary was a nice person until I started using her electricity. I did not feel comfortable using the laundry because I got some attitudes from her. About the room, it was decent at night, when there was no heat. [There was no A/C in the room.] During the day, I felt pretty hot. Keeping the window open would make it so much more noisier. The website described it as a dedicated bathroom. But she requested to use the bathroom at night, ONLY after I checked in. I felt compelled to say yes to not be a bad person. But it left a bad taste. The other guest also used the bathroom. About the space, it was small. And the picture on the website really made the room appear a lot bigger than it was. And everything was low. So, don't recommend if you are tall or like some space to yourself. Overall, I did not like the experience. But it did humble me and kept me grounded

Mary is a very welcoming person! Room and bathroom were perfect for our needs! She is responsive and very nice! Got along great with her! Thanks, Mary!

Mary's place is a sweet find! Hospitable, attentive, and kind, Mary is a pearl of a host. Coffee in the mornings, an outdoor terrace, a pool to hang out, and 2 mins to the beach by car. There is also a little neighborhood beach by the canals of HB Harbor that is beautiful and much quieter than the beaches of HB. Walking distance to restaurants and food shopping. The best sushi place EVER is right around the corner! And it is reasonably priced to boot. Lastly, the ocean's smell and breeze are a special add-on for evening cocktails.

2nd stay. Better than the first. Really getting to know the area. Mary is a great guide. Beyond location suggestions she is a native that can guide your landing to the Huntington area, which is different from LA, who knew. The back porch is warm and sunny w/ gorgeous plants. Only had difficulty w/ Street parking, as in a few spaces from my normal, one time.

A cozy warm get away filled with art and inspiration. Mary is very accommodating and charming. As a Huntington native, she was able to help me understand the area insightfully. Truly a nice part of the world to spend time in. Cozy patios filled with sunshine and plants.
