Hugo's place is on a very quiet and picturesque canal. Everyone that walks over the bridge takes a photo. The flat has clean lines and had everything we needed. Hugo met us at checkin and was very friendly. We liked Amsterdam more than expected.

Wonderful Amsterdam home. Very comfortable bed and quiet bedroom. We needed the second bed, which is the couch in the front room, and it was comfortable too (it has a flat surface, making it more like a twin bed than a couch). The location is lovely, on what must be one of the quieter and more beautiful streets. We were happy to return there at the end of every day. Really easy to walk in any direction to cafes, dinner, streetlife, markets, everything. The bathroom was very clean with an excellent shower. Hugo was an great host, greeting us on arrival and letting us stash our bags until check-in time. His local recommendations were spot-on. The kitchen was very useful despite the lack of stove -- with the fridge, kettle, and microwave plus some help from local food markets, we prepared many simple meals. I would love to stay here again.

Hugo's place was perfect to explore Amsterdam. Easy walkable distance from the center and to the train station, and it has all you may want from an apartment. Hugo was great at communicating, sending recommendations and super clear instructions.
