The room is clean and the location is convenient. Easy walk to the university. Highly recommend
I communicated with Karen, and she was an amazing host. She was very responsive and helpful. I arrived in Ann Arbor early in the morning, and I was able to drop off my bag in advance in the storage room. I was notified when my room was ready and could be checked in earlier than the official check-in time. The instructions to get to the place were clear and they are also available in print in the flat. I was aware of the noise level before I got there, and it is understandable considering it is an old construction, but the quiet time at night helped me. This time of the year, the birds chirp a lot (as early as 3:30 am from my experience), so if you are sensitive to the noise, take noise-cancelling headphones or earplugs. The location was just perfect for me. I went to UM for a conference, it is within pleasing walking distance. The downtown area is also about .5 walk and .25 mile walk to the airport shuttles. Overall, I enjoyed staying there.
The space was cute and cozy. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was also in a great location. Very walkable. The hosts were very responsive and were able to accommodate special requests. The building was old and charming, which also comes with old house expectations… noise transfers between units easily, and we were able to hear the other tenants. If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs or a noise machine should do the trick.
Perfect studio within walking distance of University of Michigan and local eateries.
Friendly host and excellent communication! I chose this place given the location. I didn't have access to a car and it was walkable to central campus and many great restaurants. I took a taxi in from the Airport but if you schedule with the Airport flyer, it's just a short walk away from that. My visit was during graduation so it was not as peaceful as I'd imagine; I'm glad the graduates had their fun!
