Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. These cabins were hand-built by my husband David, who was a very talented carpenter who put extra special touches into each cabin. The cabins sit in peaceful wooded areas on our 35 acres in Erin which is centrally located to many of the exciting places around us, such as Watkins Glen which has the breathing gorge and Seneca lake surrounded by wineries. For children, there is the Animal Farm Land zoo, which is 15 minutes away from us. When you arrive at my location , you will be surrounded by the beauty of nature and able to retreat into a peaceful camping experience. While staying in one of my cozy, comfortable cabins.

My fourth time staying on Marge’s property and I felt right at home - although she makes you feel that way from the get-go! Marge is incredibly sweet and responsive as a host, and will always go out of her way to make sure you have the best stay. Can’t wait to visit again!
Margie and her family are saints. Buckle up, I got a story to tell. We arrive after 9pm on Friday night. Margie is up waiting for us to hand off the key and help us get settled. Next day my family gets up early (before 7 am) to start the day. Car won't start. Uh oh. What do we do?! No fear, Margie and her family are incredibly kind and drive me 3 times (~20+ minutes 1 way) into town to get parts until I can fix it. Meanwhile, my kids are playing on her porch and in her house all morning with her grand kid's toys and she gives them snacks to keep them happy while her son and I are working on my car. Car is fixed, thanks to her son's help. She directs us to a few spots to visit and of course they are amazing - waterfalls, playgrounds, swimming holes, etc. What an excellent host! We will definitely be back to visit and will bring friends along with us...and extra car parts. Thanks, Margie - the super duper host of the century!!!
Marge is an amazing host. this was my second time in her place. everything is quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for a place to stay away from the city, definitely,this is the right spot for you

My home and my two cabins sit on my 35 acres of beautiful wooded area . We are completely surrounded by hills on all sides. There are only 3 houses on this dirt road which comes to a dead end, the first house is vacant on the left the second house on the right is mine and the house at the end belongs to our neighbors. It is very peaceful.
The best way to travel is definitely a car . It will take you ten minutes to go to our nearest store in Breezeport. Everything else will take a 20 to 30 minutes drive to reach.

Hi, I'm Margie and along with my husband of thirty two years David and I built two cabins. We have been blessed with 30 acres of land in Erin, NY that is literally a little heaven right here on earth. We want to share this quiet solitude and beauty with our guests. My husband passed away in March 2022 but I'm retired and devote a lot of my time to to the upkeep of these cabins and my beautiful extensive flower gardens which you are welcome to enjoy during your stay. Our two cabins are seasonal cabins only for summer use as they are not installed for colder weather. We open in late Spring when weather permits and close in the middle of October. Hope to see you in the future
