This was a perfect home base for our 3 day trip to Iceland! It was so cozy, clean, and comfortable. The most comfortable bunk beds I’ve ever slept in, and it was a great set up for our father daughter trip. The wellness area was a highlight, and Óskar was kind enough to help us light a fire in the sauna. Be sure to enjoy the hot tub! Hveragerdi is full of geothermal wonders, and our hosts had fantastic recommendations about what to see and do.

We had a lovely stay here! A cozy home with beautiful views and hikes all around, and most importantly a wonderful sauna for the Icelandic evenings. Was exactly what we were looking for!

This was one of my favorite places I stayed in during my Iceland trip. The space was the perfect size for me and my boyfriend. Oskar was kind enough to prepare the sauna and hot tub for us. He greeted us when we first came and showed us how to enter/lock the door. I didn't know I needed a heated towel rack until I used one here. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Iceland.

The turquoise cabin is fantastic and exceeded our expectations. It was very warm and cosy, with everything required for a self-catering holiday. Could not fault it. The hot tub was very warm and a real treat. The location is also great. In a peaceful neighbourhood, but with a supermarket, restaurants and bars within walking distance.
