The "Nova Doppia" rooms are newly built double rooms, located in the original core of the farmhouse. Here the privilege is silence; the pleasure is given by the absolute tranquility and the possibility of immersing oneself in the countryside and the garden of the structure. Generously spaced, tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort, they are characterized by a more homely atmosphere and guarantee quiet and privacy. They have a large equipped terrace where you can enjoy the sea view. Masseria Samenti is connected to the sea by a small road set between dry stone walls and the intense colors of a countryside that is sometimes manicured, sometimes wild. Suspended on an invisible thread between sea and land, the Masseria is in a dominant position and therefore with a splendid view of the sea, so close you can smell its perfume and salty air. Restored in full respect of the ancient structure, the Masseria consists of several blocks, with an original core dating back to the beginning of the year 1000 (completed between 1800 and 1900) and some new parts, also built respecting the style and authenticity of the place. The swimming pool, for the exclusive use of guests, and the sea looming on the horizon, cast complicit glances at each other: the border is so thin as to be imperceptible, two mirrors of water gently merging with the panorama recreating a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Very nice Location. The pool site is really nice and relaxing. However they could offer more shade places. If you are really looking for a shadow near the pool it was a bit difficult. Other than that we had a really good time and enjoyed our stay a lot. Perfect place for some relaxing 😊
Schönes kleines Hotel nahe der Küste mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Die Anlage ist sehr schön gestaltet und genauso wie auf den Bildern. Ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall erforderlich, um sich in der Gegend zu bewegen. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ist modern, aber recht einfach. Die Sauberkeit ist einwandfrei. Es gibt ein eigenes sehr gutes, dafür auch eher hochpreisiges Restaurant zum Abendessen. Sehr schöne Strände an der ionischen Küste sind in ca. 15-20 min mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die direkte Umgebung wirkt in der Nebensaison schon sehr ausgestorben.
Lovely Masseria with beautiful pool and grounds, the restaurant is also one of the best meals we had on holiday. Only suitable if you have a car, and not much within walking distance. Rooms are a tad basic, but still clean and functional. Issues in the room included a small leak in the bathroom (that was fixed very promptly), and they left an ash tray with cigarettes in from a previous guest on the outside patio which wasn't great. Breakfast was really good as well, but they need to be clearer on what you can order. It took us asking to know about the cooked options (eggs and bacon) when we saw other tables with it. You are given plates of pastries and fruit which is nice, but a bit of a waste if that isn't what you want for breakfast. It's probably more simple to give guests a breakfast menu they can order from.
