MesaVirre is a newer condo on the northern side of Bacolod. I imagine the area will be much different in 1-2 years than it is today. Currently, there aren't many restaurants or shopping options within walking distance. However, public transportation is available off Lacson St. The condo itself is incredibly safe. The pool is fantastic, but guests must pay a fee to use it. It is not available for most of the day. The apartment is highly liveable, with two great bathrooms (both have hot water), wifi, a washer and dryer, Smart TV, microwave, and water heater. The view from the living room is spectacular, with mountains on one side and the sea to the other. Daily sunsets were beautiful! Our main concern was the overall size of the unit compared to the cost. It was quite cramped for 4 people, not allowing enough seating areas for us all. The kitchen was so small as to be mostly unusable for us. For a long-term stay, you should bear this in mind.
