A lovely cottage in a beautiful location for a relaxing break. We explored every bit of the coastline from New Quay to Cardigan. It was simply stunning! As for the cottage, it was just perfect! It had everything we needed and more - a real home from home! The hot tub was a particular highlight! We only wished we could have stayed longer! We would highly recommend a stay here.
Lovely rural hideaway. The Loft space was fully kitted out with everything and more. Lovely bed and great shower. Wonderful to have our own hot tub. Loved the animals especially our new furry friend Thomas. Highly recommend.
A fantastic getaway if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Log burner and hot tub are great - we will be returning.
Was a lovely stay, hosts were really friendly, only thing we felt was maybe some lighting on the hot tub as we used it when it was dark and was hard to look around but we know not many people would use it at night like we did in the winter but nevertheless we had an amazing time so would definitely recommend staying there
Dolgoy is a 35 acre small holding within a mile of the Ceredigion coastal path and less than 3 miles from the coastal village of Llangrannog with dog friendly pubs and cafes. The barns have been sympathetically converted by the owners providing modern amenities whilst retaining historical character. There are many coves to explore as well as market towns, the colourful port of Aberaeron and further afield the university town of Aberystwyth. We are both rural and coastal, set in a sheltered valley. There is a well-stocked convenience store and garage 4 miles away and further amenities in Cardigan (12 miles), Aberaeron (14 miles) and Aberystwyth (30 miles) in which you can find delis, restaurants and larger supermarkets. We also have a number of farm shops and easy access to local produce nearby. This is an ideal area for walking and sightseeing from peaceful coves, dolphin watching, exploring our market towns, coastal towns, waterfalls, castles and birds of prey. There are historic monuments, gardens to explore, National Trust properties and much more. Further afield, you can head to Pembrokeshire and the smallest city of St David's or north to Devil's Bridge. Something to explore whatever the season or cosy times by the wood burner, enjoying our starry nights or simply relaxing in the tranquillity of Dolgoy
There is ample parking at the property, located 2 miles from the coastal village of Llanrannog and two miles from the main coastal road linking Cardigan and Aberystwyth. There is limited public transport. It is a great area for walking, hikers an cyclists.
