With apartment location like this you will be situated in the VERY CENTER of Old town at STAIRS FREE area and only a few meters from STRADUN the main street.
All required for a pleasant stay will be in the WALKING DISTANCE.
While exploring the city you will be able to rest in our accommodation anytime, just a minutes away.
Only short walk to main city entrance Pile gate where Tourist board office is located same as main local bus stop and taxi stations. From Pile gate you can easily visit other parts of Dubrovnik like Gruž ,Lapad or Babin Kuk.
You will have less than 5 minutes walk to the Old town harbor from where you can take regular lines to beautiful island Lokrum and to nearby town Cavtat. Numerous stands offering day tours to Elafiti islands are located there as well.
All city highlights such as entrance to City Walls, cable car to mount Srđ, museums, monuments or churches will be just a short way from our accommodation.
Local beaches, grocery stores, souvenir shops, restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, bars and night clubs will be in your reach without using a car or taxi.
You should just walk through any small alley and find some interesting hidden things that this city can offer.

With location as ours you will be situated in the historical center of Dubrovnik and all attractions and happenings will be at hand.
In short walking distance you will find anything required for a pleasant stay and enjoyable vacation mostly free of using public transport or taxi and not wasting your time in traffic jams.
Main entrance to the City Walls is located just steps away from the apartment next to Large Onofrio's Fountain.
In less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment towards Ploče gate you will be at the Old Harbor. There you can catch 2 regular boats, Zrinski and Skala, going every half an hour to beautiful island Lokrum.
Also at the harbor you will be able to book daily tours to Elafiti islands at several stands or boat line to close by town Cavtat.
Cable car building is located outside the Walls,on the north side, about 15 to 20 minutes walk longer way with no stair or 10 minutes taking shorter way with Boškovićeva street. There you can take a few minutes cable ride uphill to Fort Imperial on mount Srđ and have a spectacular view, nice restaurant and museum. Also buggies can be rented for a drive upon there.
In short walk from the apartment, just outside Pile gate you will find bus stops with all local lines and taxi stations. Also Tourist Info Office is located there. From Pile you can easily reach other parts of Dubrovnik like Lapad or Babin Kuk as same as the main ferry port and central bus station in Gruž.
To get to the airport random taxis will be always available or you can just order Uber.
Bus lines like 1A or 1B will take you to the ferry port (5th and 6th stop) or central bus station (6th stop) in about 15 minutes. Tickets can be bought at Tisak newsstands or Libertas kiosk (12kn) next to Pile bus stop or in the bus but that way is a bit more expensive.If you are buying tickets directly in the bus (15kn per person) please have an exact or approximate amount in local currency.
On the way to the airport, the shuttle stop is located next to cable car building 15 to 20 minutes walk from the apartment if taking longer way with no stairs. Tickets can be bought on line or in the shuttle.
On the way from the airport to the Old town, the shuttle will stop at Ploče gate instead of Pile gate, if traffic is more dense. To be certain the best would be to check with the driver.
Parking close to city walls is quite limited (mostly reserved for residents only) and expensive especially during tourist season (April to November)
To park close to city walls you can try with Sanitat paid parking lots:
Zone0, just outside Pile gate.
Zone2, the north side, outside city walls, under cable car station building, lower plateau.

If you decide to go with a less expensive way you can try with Sanitat:
Paid street and off street parking in zone3, anywhere in Gruž and Lapad area or Ferry Port paid parking lot in Gruž. From there you can easily take local bus, taxi or Uber back to the Old town (Pile gate).
Driving with a taxi or Uber will last a bit longer due to shortcuts with less traffic, allowed only to local buses.
If your car is rental and will not be required after visiting Dubrovnik, the best would be to return it upon your arrival (at downtown offices) and then easily take a local bus or taxi/Uber back to the Old town. With this apartment location, you will absolutely not need a car during your stay.
