Beware! I've been staying at airbnbs for 6 months (5 star guest rating), and Elaina is by far the worst host I have encountered. Very manipulative, controlling, and engages in deceptive behavior. It's a shame bc the space is cute and the property is huge. Elaina does not own the property. She is the daughter of the owner. There are known issues which are not specified in the listing: 1 - There's a door connecting this basement unit to the host home, and there is no way to lock it. As a solo female traveler, I did not feel safe as there were random dog sitters coming in and out of the home. 2 - There is something wrong with the water system. When it rains the water turns brown and smells really bad. I stunk after showering. I couldn't use the water at all, even for dishes or laundry. Elaina was dismissive and didn't help or offer any alternative. I had to leave because of this, and she proceeded to lie to customer support and attempted to withhold my refund for the unused days.

Me and my wife had a wonderful stay at Elaina's place. The surroundings are gorgeous, with a huge forest with walkable paths just outside the door. You get a big and private basement with a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a washing machine ad dryer. The host is just wonderful and sweet and quick to see to any needs that you may have. Highly recommended.
