We couldn’t have been happier with our stay here. Chris was helpful and fun to talk to and the place was beautiful. We had an idyllic walk to a restaurant playing traditional Scottish music and met some new friends. Then came back to some scotch and chocolate Chris had ready for us. Even had great vegetarian breakfast options for my friend. If you’re in the area, come stay here!

We had a great stay with Chris! The location was ideal…only a ~7min walk to the bridge and access to restaurants and other city offerings. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked with yummy snacks (& even a little whiskey!). Chris definitely knows how to make a delicious made-to-order breakfast! I appreciated his communication l, not just during our stay but even before our arrival, making some great suggestions of places to see along our drive to Inverness. Chris is a wonderful host…we enjoyed chatting with him each day!

Great location. It is really spacious generally, the room was large and the bed enormous, very comfortable. There were also some treats, whisky and chocolate, which was a great welcome! A friedge too which would be handy for longer stays, especially as it was so quiet. Breakfast was delicious — much better than I've had in many a hotel! Chris asked about any preferences etc beforehand so I had a full Scottish with bacon, sausage, roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, scrambled, egg hash browns. Plenty of teas available, with croissants. This is a really good find and I'd be very happy to come back if in the area.

Chris is the new kid on the block and has set his stall out very nicely with this unexpected but delightful stay at Castle B&B, a brief 10 min walk from the Centre and it’s good selection of pubs, cafes, supermarkets and restaurants. The house was warm, calm, clean and large enough, with a lovely outdoor space and seating to catch the winter sun and plenty of space inside to lounge around in comfort. Eco friendly products in the shower and a decanter of whiskey in the bedroom,with tumblers and some rather nice chocolates (vegan option too), whichI thought was a really nice touch. Chris has a good local knowledge of Inverness and the Highlands, including some of the more popular spots, as well as some of the more remote regions and how to get there transport wise. The breakfast was the winner for me - lots of choice, meat and vegan options, gluten free products, hot and cold options, with a full buffet, fresh coffee. Will definitely stay again 👍🇮🇪
