Very nice and cozy place to stay. Views are very good and the hottub was very well maintained. Loved the stay..!
Very nice helpful hosts. Beautiful property and a good location. Bed was comfortable, but it could use a warm fluffy comforter for chilly nights and there is a great need for a black out blind on the door window. I plan on staying there when we are in town..
Very pretty, easy parking. Location nice. No one was ever in the lobby…and I was there 4 nights, it would have been nice to have someone there for late arrivals. (Me) Lots of outdoor stairs to get to my room, these were a bit slippery with ice and rain. Room clean and well stocked. Pillows need to be replaced, very lumpy and not very comfortable. Bed was good though. Well stocked with great body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Because tenants are asked to take their trash to outdoor, I was happy to do it, but these were overflowing when I left. Luckily it was cold weather. I would come again.
Art City Inn is truly a unique experience in a great location in Springville, UT. Close to great restaurants and art venues. We walked to the Springville Farmer's Market one night (literally across the parking lot) and it was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable and well decorated. We will definitely stay here again.
Accommodations were very nice. They have done a nice job a making the cool heritage building clean and renovated. I gave it four star for two reasons only. The mattress on the side beside the door had a sagging area. I had to sleep lay on the pillow to fill it in. And black out roller shade on the door would be excellent. Thin curtain makes it quite bright in early morning. We had a very short stay. Passing through. So sleep was most important. One good good perk was the temp control in room was excellent. The welcoming snack package was very kind also. We enjoyed the popcorn upon our late night arrival. Thank you for our stay. Would stay again if there was a new mattress.
自我介绍
Art City Inn was originally built in 1892 by Moses and Anna Kearns Johnson. Moses was a prominent actor and son of the founder of Springville, Aaron Johnson. At the time, the inn was known as the Johnson Hotel and was one of three hotels in Springville, Utah. Two significant railroads connected the town to the rest of the US which created a need for accommodations for visitors, along with Springville's success in agricultural processing. William Henry Kearns and Loretta Chase Kearns bought it in the early 1900s, and added onto it sometime between 1908 and 1925 with the two-story rear wing. Loretta and her son Howard were artists and while living at the hotel, they painted multiple pieces of art, now under the care of the Springville Museum of Art. Throughout the following decades, it would be run as an inn under the names of Kearns House, Manitou Hotel, Valley Tavern Hotel, amongst others. In the early 2000s, most of the major systems were updated and it was then run as a Victorian-style bed and breakfast for several years. Finally in 2021, extensive renovations were started and then finished in 2022 to turn it into what you see today. Welcome to Art City!
