This cozy, warm home comes with secured parking for 2 vehicles, a fully equipped kitchenette, a living area with TV & WiFi; two spacious bedrooms with airconditioning / heating & a private outdoor deck with BBQ facilities. Each room has en-suite bathrooms and outdoor shower. The beds are set up as one king size bed & 2 single beds for families or friends. The estate also offers a common outdoor swimming pool to estate guests. Restaurants & coffee shops just outside the lodge area. The small open-plan intimate kitchen is equipped with a small fridge freezer; essential pots, pans, crockery and cutlery, toaster, microwave oven, kettle, electric 4-plate stove top, electric oven and a washing machine. We provide complimentary coffee, teas, milk, sugar and salt & pepper. The kitchen opens onto the open-plan lounge TV room with a working indoor fireplace, which leads to the outside patio and the adjoining main bedroom. The second bedroom is accessed from the outside patio past the under cover barbecue area and is semi-detached from the main house. Both bedrooms area equipped with king size floor length mosquito nets, a private close-door toilet, indoor bath tub and a wonderful quartz-carpeted hot water outside shower. We provide you with complimentary body wash & body lotion to enjoy during your stay. Mosquito wall plug-ins are provided for the summer months, and for the chilly winter nights additional winter blankets are within easy reach in each bedroom. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning systems which have a heating option as well as cooling. The central outside patio welcomes you with a mighty female Marula tree, who's fruits are delicious when ripe and yellow; try gather yellow fruit from the floor in summer months, place in the fridge & peal the skin off for a fresh sweet burst of Vitamin C! Watch out as the Vervet monkeys absolutely love the fruits, as well as any food items they may steal from the kitchen, so please be aware when they are around and close the doors and windows! The bonsai garden runs alongside the undercover barbecue area which looks onto the undercover dining area, which is lit and equipped with a ceiling fan. Again please be aware of the monkeys and do not leave food out unattended! The garden is quaint and secluded while still allowing for nature of all kinds to thrive and share the space with us. Great for birding on those lazy afternoons.
