We only stayed at Carmenita's for one night, but it was the perfect place for our quick weekend roadtrip. Roomy and comfortable, this little apartment had everything we needed. Carmenita was exceptionally friendly and easy to reach, and gave us great recommendations for food and entertainment in Birmingham.

Great quiet, roomy and clean place to stay. Host was accommodating and made sure we were comfortable with room temperature etc. Coffee, water, mini refrigerator and microwave were provided. Bath towels and some hygiene items (if needed) were provided as well. There were not a lot of restaurants in the area (there was fast food), which I was able to handle because I eat a special diet and always bring food with me, however someone else may need to prepare to drive into town for food. My traveling partner was able to study all day when I was at class without any disturbance. I was (actually) able to sleep restfully which is uncommon for me.
