I had an emergency that I had to cancel my trip to Montreal. The last day to get a partial refund was December 14, 2023. My wife found out that her mom have stage four cervical cancer on December 15, 2023 and we had to book her an emergency flight to South Africa on December 18, 2022. I asked for leniency but I was told nothing could be done for a refund so I told my brother in law to take his wife and kid and occupy the place. My brother in law already live in Montreal. I think some money should have been reimbursed.

We enjoyed our week-long stay here. We are a family of four with two older teens/YAs. The home is comfortable and was quiet during our visit. We walked most everywhere (we didn’t have a car; mostly walked with a few Uber rides). There are small grocery markets nearby, so those suited our needs. If you plan to eat-in a lot or cook large meals, you’ll have to go a little farther afield (ask the host). We enjoyed great shopping on Rue St-Catherine and at Eaton Center — walking distance from the home. Mont Royal is directly behind, with a beautiful chalet and views at the top (walkable for the reasonably-fit). We visited the Art Museum (free for under-21) — fantastic exhibits and very nicely curated — must see the Peace Pavilion. Just a note: the home is 3-4 blocks uphill from most of the sights and restaurants but was easy to navigate on foot. Danielle was in touch with all check-in instructions — an enjoyable and proactive host.

The location was great. Its close to the down town and the area is quite walkable. The showers are really nice and the beds are very comfortable. The private patio area is nice and the sliding doors let in a lot of natural light. Having the washer and dryer in the condo is super convenient. The parking in the area is rough. Parking on the street in front of the condo during the day will result in a $90 ticket. The listing states 2.5 bathrooms but there are actually only 2 bathroom. Be very careful around the radiators as they do get VERY hot to the touch.

This was a lovely Montréal B&B easy access to downtown with a nice nearby cafe. Spacious and very clean with all of the necessary items.
