Stayed for a night before an early flight to be close to the airport and it served its purpose. location is part of the hotel/motel so you have to go to the front desk to check in (messages instructions said unit was unlocked and ready but it was not).

Our Kauai Palms cottage was as described. Check in and check out were very easy. Staff was very friendly. Cottage was clean but dated. Close to airport but not many restaurants close by. Great for a one night stay until our timeshare was available.
Very clean, comfortable place for family of 4. Easy check-in and out. Friendly cat on premises.
It was nice to have a detached cottage with plenty of space to relax and basic kitchen equipment for eating a few meals, especially breakfast, at the unit. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and bonus was meeting the property’s resident cat, Mango! Found some good mom and pop restaurants nearby and location was close to airport and not far from favorite stores. Location was free from a lot of traffic and road noise and pretty quiet for being “in town”.
