House was in a very good location inside John Hay. The backyard looks out to the golf course. Plenty of pine trees. The centralized hot water system was nice. But the house is poorly maintained. Roof was leaking in several places (lanai, master’s bedroom, fireplace). The house smelled moldy/musty when we entered like it hasn’t been aired in a long time. There was mold on the ceiling of the master’s bedroom. The master bathroom had a tub but no overhead shower. You need to hold the handheld shower to take a bath. No toilet paper dispenser. No towel rack or hooks to hang your wet towels on. Toilet does not flush well. You’ll need to do it several times to get the job done. Power seemed insufficient on our first night and we had to turn off some of the lights to be able to cook rice. I asked the host and he just said it’s been reported and that was it. Didn’t send anyone to check. I also asked if he had extra trash bags. He said ok but didn’t send any. Responsive but not helpful.

We had the pleasure of staying and we must say, it was an exceptional experience. Albert, was incredibly accommodating and attentive to our needs throughout our stay. He and his team went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and memorable visit. One thing that stood out to me was when I realized that I had forgotten my gold earrings in the room. Upon notifying Albert and his team, they quickly located the earrings, which I appreciated very much. The house itself was well-appointed and had all the necessary amenities we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, utensils, and glasses, making it easy for us to cook our meals during our stay. The golf course view from the backyard was also a lovely. Despite the many attractions and activities available in Baguio City, we found ourselves opting to stay in the house for most of our three-day stay. It was that cozy and comfortable. My 6 month old baby even had a very good sleep, thinking it was our home.

We loved Albert's place. Beautifully tucked away in Camp John Hay on the golf course. Beautiful home and we hope to be back again!
