The place is beautiful and peaceful and there were some cats and a chicken on the property which my daughter loved. Unfortunately the kitchen supplies listed were not truly provided. The gas stove needed a lighter and the host charged me 2 dollars for a cigarette lighter which I then could not use to light the stove, a long nosed one was needed. She did eventually provide an electric burner after I had a long morning with a hungry baby of not being able to cook. The pan provided was also moldy and dirty so I’m glad I brought my own. I chose this place because it boasted kids toys and books would be available and those ended up being a small sack of dirty stuffed animals, a few Lego pieces, a dirty truck, and some clothespins? Along with some dirty health education books for elementary schoolers (I have a 1 year old) and I did tell the host my daughter’s age and we were in communication about my excitement for this particular offering of toys and books so that was very disappointing.

Kathryn was a wonderful host and we loved staying at the wild gardens yurt. The place has everything you need with beautiful surroundings. We loved waking up to the birds chirping loudly ❤️. We hope to be back in the future!
