About Laurel Ridge Come and relax in the mountains at Laurel Ridge. This well-maintained cabin is the perfect size for three couples or a family of up to six to have a wonderful mountain experience. With over 3,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, you’re sure to find a spot to suit your needs. Watch wildlife from the screened in deck, play pool or cards downstairs in the game room, soak in the hot tub, or take in the views of the mountains. Although we are new to hosting Laurel Ridge has been a rental property for the past 3 years. The cabin offers two master suites with private baths as well as another large bedroom downstairs. All three bedrooms have access to a deck which can be closed off both on the upper and lower levels so that children and dogs can’t wander off. In the winter months there are two gas fireplaces inside or a hot tub and propane fire pit outside to keep you warm. The basement has a pool table and a card table as well as a selection of card and board games for you to enjoy. There is also a small collection of DVDs. If you’re looking for more outdoor adventure, the cabin is located approximately 5 minutes from Unicoi State Park, 10 minutes from the alpine village of Helen, and 25 minutes from Lake Burton. Local attractions also include: hiking, fishing, boating, tubing, horseback riding, zip lining, ropes courses, vineyards, and much more! Laurel Ridge is a pet-friendly cabin (with a fenced in side yard) and a one-time pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). Maximum of 2 dogs. Main Floor: Living Room and Kitchen. King bedroom with private bath on the right; Queen bedroom with private bath to the left. Screened in deck and grill outdoors. Downstairs: Game Room, King bedroom with walk-in shower. Loved this cabin! This is the second time coming to Helen and when we come back again this will be the first place we look to book! Very clean and pet friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the basement game room! We played games, played pool, stayed in the hot tub and watched movies every night! It’s just close enough to Helen that it doesn’t take forever to get there and is very private. Robert was very nice and quick to respond to messages, we even extended our trip an extra night we were enjoying ourselves that much! Well worth it and we will be coming back!
Robert was a great host. Very accommodating. Everything was as described. His home was beautiful. Extremely comfortable.
We had a wonderful time at Laurel Ridge! The place was beautiful, quite peaceful and exactly as described. We thoroughly enjoyed the game room each evening with the kids, playing cards, pool, etc. lots of options for entertainment. Especially enjoyed the mountain views in the morning over coffee and in the evening, with a nice beverage,. The surrounding area had many beautiful hikes. We did high, Shoals Falls, and preachers rock. We really appreciate the walking sticks that the house provided for those hikes . Lots of little touches like that That made our stay very comfortable. Highly recommend Laurel Ridge for a very relaxing vacation.
This cabin has been my favorite since I started visiting Helen. This will not be my last booking for this cabin. It had everything I needed for entertainment.

There is parking on the driveway for up to 4 cars, cars are not allowed to be parked on the road. The driveway is sloped and we recommend reversing into the driveway as it makes it easier to see when going out.
