It was a very comfortable stay.
The barn is beautiful. It is very comfortable and easy to feel at home. It has everything you need and the beds are really comfortable. It's lovely and peaceful and we slept really well. It's a great base to explore York and the North Yorkshire coast. Mhairi is so friendly and welcoming and the guide gives great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Highly recommend!!

自我介绍
We are a family of four: Mum and Dad and 2 boys, one at high school and the other at Uni. We love camping in our 1970s VW camper, especially in Northumberland, West Coast of Scotland, and Northern Spain. We have a veggie garden going in the summer, usually with some spare veg to give out! We run a village choir, both boys play instruments, and my husband Duncan also occasionally plays George Harrison in a Beatles band. We have really enjoyed travelling to New Zealand, Queensland Australia, Switzerland and Norway. There is lots of live music in York and Leeds (not least the Leeds Festival), and we have recently been to see Queen, Imagine Dragons, Fairport Convention, Don McClean and The Proclaimers. We have a wide range of tastes in movies, but can all agree on Star Wars being a classic. I run a book club in the village, so I get through all kinds of books, although I don't always have time to keep up with the reading list! We are laid back hosts and just want you to enjoy your stay, whatever you are doing.
