This is a fraudulent listing. The apartment bears no similarity to the listing in either location or condition. The host declined to give a location for the apartment. The actual location is nowhere near Kornish al Nile. but is on a housing estate 5 km south east of there. The lock on the front door was partially broken. The lights in lounge did not work. The whole apartment had not been cleaned in months. There were plates of half eaten food left lying about. The kitchen and bathroom were filthy as was the fridge / freezer. The bed linen had not been changed. No towels or toilet paper were supplied. There was no wifi. Packs of feral dogs roamed around the deserted streets of the estate at night, and I heard two load bangs during the night which appeared to be gunshots. I felt unsafe and left first thing in the morning, and had to pay to get a hotel in the centre of town.

The place was very nice and clean with a wonderful view from the balcony and right on the waterfront. It's about 2.5kms from the main busy area, so took us about 30 or so minutes to which - which wasn't a problem for us but might be for others. The photos don't quite match, I think the photos are off a different apartment (but similar in style and still very nice). Only recommendation for the host would be to provide more basic amenities (towels, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid etc) but I think this was just an oversight as it was first time on Airbnb. Overall a really great stay and Hosni was responsive and helpful!
