Our family of 4, plus two dogs, spent two nights at Katie’s house over our spring break. The cottage is adorable and had everything we needed, including gorgeous views of the lake from every room. It’s close to the main road but still felt private and quiet. Katie was kind enough to provide eclipse glasses for everyone! The Finger Lakes is one of our favorite places, and we’d love to come back sometime.

The house is nice and cozy. It was smaller than I expected, but perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). Super clean and beds are very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, great coffee selection, and all needed supplies from cleaning products to condiments. The house it’s on the main road and doesn’t have a fence, not ideal for small children. The lake view is fantastic and the fire pit makes it even better. We would recommend this place.

Katie's cottage was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, we only had a short stay (we were mostly on the SU campus about half an hour away) so we didn't get to explore the area much, but everything that we needed (and more) was supplied. Checking in was a breeze and the house rules are easy to follow. Despite visiting at the end of the winter season, the beauty of the surroundings was not lost on us, and we can only imagine how enchanting it must be in the summer months. The view of the lake from the living room was one of the nicest we've seen. As others mentioned, the houses are close together, but this wasn't an issue for us as I'm pretty sure we were the only people around. This is an ideal destination for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life this time of year. We'd love to return during the warmer months and spend some time on the beautiful lake.

Katie's place was a nice spot for a weekend getaway. Even through a snowstorm the view of the lake was beautiful. It was a quick drive to Skaneateles where there are a lot of cute shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the space was clean. The upstairs bedroom was a little small (ceilings were a little low for someone tall) but would be a good space for a kid. Overall we had a great time and feel like it was definitely worth the price. We would love to come back in the summer and get to enjoy the outdoors more!
