Gorgeous cabin in Carwoola in a remote and beautiful spot near Queanbeyan! Beautifully built with rain head shower and heated floors in the bathroom! Lounge is super cosy with a combustion fireplace with wood provided. Bed is firm with lovely linen. Kitchen is super cute with lovely provisions - bread / eggs / milk / juice / cereal / coffee pods / tea / biscuits (to name a few). Outdoor seating area with gas BBQ to cook up your dinner. Get lost in time watching the native wildlife with a sunset beverage 🥂

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin which was clean, tidy and comfortable. Phil who greeted us was very friendly and let us in the cabin. Self check in would have been handy without having to watch the time to meet with hosts to be let in when we are on a leisurely travel. The night we stayed it rained and there was no phone reception and had to get outside the cabin in the cold to only get spotty reception thus unable to book dining at a restaurant or make contact with my son living in Canberra. WIFI connection would have been handy having inadequate phone connection at the cabin. We appreciate the stay at the cabin as an accommodation that is focussed on being a peaceful getaway, however it is essential in this day/age we should be able to be contactable by mobile at the very least as guests have different needs/purpose of stay. Water fr tap was yellow despite being filtered we would think unsuited for consumption/wash or shower. Insufficient bottled water was supplied for use.

Lovely accommodation in a secluded but easy to find spot. Kathleen was a friendly host who met us on check-in to explain the features of the cabin, but who otherwise left us in peace. The accommodation is beautiful: thoughtfully and tastefully furnished. We enjoyed the freshly baked bread and good coffee, and especially gazing out on kangaroos and relaxing in front of the cosy log fire.

Our weekend stay was absolutely perfect. Kathleen is a lovely host and was accommodating for our changed check in time. I was greeted by her promplty when I arrived and was given clear instructions on the house rules and where everything is. The cottage has all the perfect finishing touches like freshly baked loaf of bread, eggs, milk, coffee etc. We made use of the cute little picnic basket that was set for us and we couldn't have had a more relaxing and beautiful weekend. Highly recommended place to stay if you want a little private getaway as long as you don't mind a few Kangaroos checking in on the surroundings 😃
