A mini Versailles just outside of NYC - located on a private and gated 8 acre estate with its own lake in Waccabuc, NY. Surrounded by 18C statuary, manicured gardens and fountains, it’s like staying in a 5-Star European luxury hotel suite (house designed by David Easton) with heated stone floors and heated towel rack, new top of the line Sealy mattress, gold taps, private entrance and it’s very serene. (.7mi from Waccabuc Country Club, 60 min from NYC by car or train - Katonah train station). A secluded, private estate on 8 acres - fully gated and fenced in. The guest house has its own parking area and private entrance with a pea gravel walkway and it’s own patio with a small table and two chairs. The room is very beautiful with high end finishings - gold grass cloth wallpaper, blue stone heated floors - and a high end bathroom with heated floor and towel rack.

This place is an absolute gem. It was so peaceful, clean and quiet. It was just what I needed to get a “pause” after a busy week. The bed was super comfortable and I had a great night’s sleep. Beautiful scenery for my morning cup of coffee !
It was nice experience to stay such a countryside. Bird chipping in the morning with the lake view over the room window was enough to make sure that it is the right place to stay! Thank you Lori!
Beautiful little studio. Enjoyed my stay and walking around the pond in the back with abundant koi fish to watch. Very serene. The area is great and Lori was responsive to any issues we had. Instructions provided were very precise and helpful. Is designed best for 2 people who are comfortable sleeping together as really only 1 queen bed. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lori's cottage while visiting family in Ridgefield. It had everything we were looking for: beautiful quiet setting, attractive inside and out, comfortable bed, great towels and bathroom, fast wifi and a smart TV with access to all our apps. I particularly appreciated that her check-in instructions meticulously illustrated, with photos, how to do everything. Would definitely stay here again!

Waccabuc is a small hamlet and lake in the town of Lewisboro, Westchester County, New York. Waccabuc is considered "New York's Secret Suburb" and is home to a "collection of privacy-loving C.E.O.s and bright stars in other firmaments," according to an Upstart Business Journal article about the tremendous number of notable residents in a hamlet of just 450 residents. Waccabuc is known by many outside of the town for its Castle Rock.
The estate is fully fenced in - there is parking inside the gates for the guest house. We live on a gravel road. It’s very county here. Uber is pretty non-existent. You will need to have a car. Greenway local grocery store, La Familia pizzeria, Salsa Fresca, Dunkin, Cams 24 Hour Deli, Shell station -1 mile away in Cross River.
