I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Karen. She was quick to respond to my inquiries before my stay and very attentive to my needs during my stay. She provided great suggestions for activities and restaurants and even gave me directions to get there. Her home was clean and well-maintained, which made my stay very comfortable.

Very nice and clean place. Minimarket next door, and 3min walk to the beach. Nice place, and Karen is just a great host.

Barbados is a safe and friendly place to relax and recharge. But it was Karen who made my solo trip 10x better. From her cheerful and timely reception to her helpful recommendations to her amazing responsiveness (and I mean amazing!) my experience at Bajan Breeze for 7 days, on a scale of 1-5 stars, gets a whopping 10 star review! ⭐️

I really enjoyed my stay at Karen’s place. Karen was fun to chat with. She met me at the door for check in, and was around every day to see if I needed anything. I enjoyed meeting the other solo travelers who were staying there as well. The bed was very comfortable. I loved that the beach was literally across the street, a very short 5 minute walk. I took the reggae buses to get around most places. For further excursions I did sign up for a few tours since I didn’t have a rental. One is not needed to stay at Karen’s, but might be handy if you’re comfortable driving and want to explore the island on your own. I got some groceries at the store right on the corner and made use of the fridge in my room so I could have breakfast on site each day. For dinners I often had leftovers and this made the microwave in the common area handy as well! The price is right at Karen’s and if you looking to experience the local culture instead of a resort, this is a great place to be.
