This place is in such a beautiful location and it is HUGE! We really enjoyed visiting the horses and cows and appreciated the spacious kitchen, dining areas, and patio!

Elmwood was our grandparents home and it was wonderful to return. The outdoor patio which was added was great for dining as the sun set. The new equestrian rings and stables are beautiful and we loved visiting the horses and cattle. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the sun rise over the fields. Room to spread out, TV and exercise equipment, spacious bathrooms and well equipped and large kitchen. We invited extended family and friends for dinner and there was room for all. We will return!

We love Elmwood House. It is a beautiful grand old house that has been updated to be very comfortable. We have stayed here twice to visit family in the area. There is plenty of room for each of my adult kids and their spouses. Each bedroom has its own huge bathroom, which is a particular treat. I love the huge kitchen and three dining rooms. There is a formal dining room right out of a Jane Austen novel, a lovely breakfast room, flooded with morning sunlight that looks out into a rose garden, and another large dining room with windows and French doors that open onto a gorgeous patio and garden with ancient trees and a beautiful view. I have been able to comfortably entertain my extended family here for dinners. I was astonished on my first visit to learn there is a commercial horse barn on the property. It is immaculately kept and highly professional. You will find the owner, Jim, working just about 24/7. He is dynamic and friendly, and has always made us feel welcome.
