This is our family home, called Le Palaie Vecchie. There is lots of space. We have gardens, a vineyard, a fruit orchard, a vegetable garden, a pool and a dog. Lots of people stay here - us, guests, friends, family,. There is enough space for you to be private, or join in and have fun - whatever you prefer. We are just 3km from a town, yet fully in the countryside. We have another three bedrooms in the same home, so if you need more rooms or something different, just ask! Something pretty special! A private bedroom with independent access that sleeps maximum three people, with a private bathroom. One small double (140cm width) is a suspended bed up in the air. And there is a single day bed (90cm x 200cm)that can double as a sofa. Down the spiral staircase there is a bathroom with a loo, sink and shower cubicle (with two windows, one had a mosquito net). In the main room on ground floor level there is a small double bed accessed by a ladder up in the sky! Plus a sofa that can easily work as a single bed for an extra guest. The room has a total of 3 windows (one with a mosquito net and bars) and the huge glass door - so there is no shortage of light! Just over the road (4m!) from the main house, you have all the privacy that you need, but if you want to come and join us in the garden or pool, you are most welcome

Suzy and her team welcomed us very friendly and very welcoming. It is a very nice place to stay with a beautiful view of the vineyards and a family like atmosphere. We came to visit Florence, which is only a 30 minutes train drive away and Suzy gave us very nice recommendations and places we should visit and we had a really nice experience. We ate very tasty (and cheap) dinners with Suzy and her team in her garden, with very nice talks, wine and good food. What made it even better was Tyra, a very friendly dog who welcomed us every morning during breakfast. 10/10 would go again:)

We had an amazing stay. I am a local too and I connected immediately with Susannah. I am already planning to come back and I can recommend it gor anyone who wants to experience the real italian side of italy in one of the best locations with one of the best hosts I've ever encountered on Airbnb!
Suzi’s AirBnB is a tuscan dream. I hade a wonderful stay there and I enjoyed everything! The dinners we had together with the other guests were really nice and I met some great people including Suzi and her dog Tyra :) Everything makes you feel right at home and still you are able to have as much privacy as you like. The pool was excellent as well! I highly recommend Suzi’s place!
We were very pleased with our stay! The location of the apartments appealed to us greatly, although it does require having a car. It's a 30-minute drive to Florence. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions at every stage. The apartments are very cozy, and the pool with its splendid view, along with the breakfasts, were a delightful bonus.

Immersed in the green Tuscan countryside with views, walks, olives, vineyards and everthing you would expect in this magnificent territory. Yet we are also a stone's throw from a major town with all the facilities of modern living - banks, train station, pharmacy, supermarket etc.
You absolutely do need car to get around here, and we have free parking on site.
Just 3km from us in a major town there is an excellent train service for reaching Florence and other towns.
There are no taxis and there is no public transport to our house.

Another Brit living in Tuscany. I have been here since 1993 (originally from London) and speak fluent Italian, so I am good at getting things sorted locally. I have children and dogs and the usual paraphernelia associated with life. I work from home, and so am usually on hand to help out if required. Life in Tuscany is good and we live a slow life with simple pleasures. I would love to help you get to know them!
