Experience the best of Portland at this combined listing that offers the vintage charm of two spacious 2-bedroom apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a 3-unit building, each with its own private balcony and a suite of amenities. Enjoy the convenience of being just a 5-minute walk to the start of downtown and 15 minutes to the Old Port. No matter what brings you to Portland, these apartments offer a comfortable home base while you're in town. These are 2 two-bedroom apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors with many classic and beautiful architectural features such as tin ceilings, columns, and a fireplace/mantle. Note that getting from one apartment to the other requires exiting one apartment and walking a small flight of stairs to the other. There's a private balcony with a table with four chairs along with two lounge chairs for summertime relaxing at the front of each apartment. All 4 bedrooms have a very comfortable queen-size memory foam mattress with cozy and luxurious linens.

We had a great stay with college friends for our weekend away. The place was perfect, decks were great to enjoy the weather. Living room had plenty of space to hang out. Clean apartments and exactly what we expected. Would definitely recommend staying here!
We stayed in both units one on the 2nd floor and the other on the 3rd floor. They were very nicely furnished, easy to access, and comfortable. Be aware that in the 2nd floor unit the shower is in a beautiful claw tub. However, because there’s a curtain that goes around the entire tub, if you have any balance issues you will have to be very careful as there’s no type of bar to grab. However, everything looked and worked great.
Stayed in Francine & Greg’s “super unit” where we had the 2nd and 3rd floors! It was so convenient for our group of 8. The location is within 1 mile or almost everything but is on a quiet street so it was still peaceful to sit out on the balconies. Plenty of space, well furnished, plenty of hot water. Would love to stay when I return to Portland!

These apartments are located on a quiet street in the historic Parkside neighborhood. It's a short walk to downtown, the Old Port, and dozens of shops, cafes, and restaurants.
Two off-street parking spaces will be available for your use. Additional parking is easy to find on the street and doesn't require a permit or payment (check the parking signs though! and check the City of Portland's website for snow bans in the winter).
Walking to nearby places is also easy from this location. But when it's too cold or too hot, or you have to go far, there are many Uber and Lyft drivers around. There's also the Portland METRO Bus with a bus stop just two short blocks away.

We are Francine and Greg, hailing from Ireland and Central Maine, respectively, and we're the hosts of the Port City Nest and Port City Oasis in Portland, Maine, and the Laughton House and Cottages at Pemaquid Beach. After getting married in 2016, we left our home in North Carolina and set off on an adventure around the world that led us back to Maine where Greg has his roots. Now our life adventure continues with our silly toddler, Finn, and a commitment to providing our guests with an enjoyable stay in Portland and Pemaquid Beach. We highly value our guests and want everyone who stays in our Airbnbs to feel at home during their stay. We are also polite, courteous, and very respectful of other people's homes when we're the guests.
