Experience the beauty & peace of the Cheyenne River Valley in this lovely Wasta cabin. Cozy and private with all the comforts of home and a lovely elevated covered porch for enjoying the rolling prairie views. The large bathroom is equipped with a jetted tub/shower offering plenty of room for a relaxing soak after a day of exploring. Wasta is a small friendly village which is situated off the Interstate 90, easy access to Wall (10 minutes east) with the gate to the Badlands just 20 minutes away. This cozy studio cabin is equipped with comfortable king sized bed along with seating for two, a kitchen area with cooktop, microwave and coffee set up. The large bath has a jetted tub/shower perfect for soaking. Covered elevated deck allows for relaxing and taking in the surrounding rolling prairie scene. You may even spot deer, antelope, and/or a variety of birds as you enjoy the scenic hills in the distance.

Amazing stay!
Jayne was a wonderful host, she was friendly and responsive and the cabin is clean, comfortable and welcoming. It had all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. We enjoyed watching the deer and rabbits from the porch and there’s so much to do and see in the surrounding area. We highly recommend staying in Jayne’s cabin!!!
The cabin was very cozy and comfortable and had all the conveniences desired! The listing and photos are very accurate. Location is convenient for visiting The Badlands and Wall. We only had one night in this area but we would love to come back!
Jayne was a wonderful host! The place is beautiful and perfect space. I stayed 3 nights & loved it. Exactly how the photos look. There was a train that went by in the night but only one of my nights & I didn’t really mind. Just a heads up on that! (Although this is mentioned in the notes, this is just your reminder 😉)

A quiet group of not too close neighbors. There is a local train that runs occasionally-you may hear the whistle from time to time!
Wasta is a small town of about 80 residents. The local “Wasta Bar” is open Tuesday-Saturday from 3pm-closing and serves up good pub food & a great variety of drinks, its always a fun time! The 24 Express gas station is available & has a large selection of vending inside…☺️
We always let folks know to bring food & drink with them as the market in Wall is about 10 minutes up the road! *If you get to Wall don’t miss the famous “Wall Drug” a popular spot for all sorts of great shopping & wonderful local goods🤗

Hi I’m Jayne! My husband Paul and I have been fortunate to be given the opportunity to own and operate our Motel and Air BnB business in the beautiful state of South Dakota, specifically the friendly village of Wasta. Located right on the I-90 at Exit 98, we are just outside of the town of Wall and the Badlands National Park. We are experienced travelers as well as hosts with our goal being to give the best experience possible with value and simplicity. Our hope is that our guests will feel at home and comfortable in our spaces and free to enjoy their surroundings while feeling secure and welcome.
