Wonderful experience. This was our second visit and we're looking forward to a third. The location is regenerative, peaceful, poetic. We live in Brooklyn and regularly recommend to our friends who are looking for a place to disconnect from day to day stress. Chuck's a great host, easy to communicate with and a fascinating person if you get a chance to chat. Love the wood stove indoors, the fire pit by the creek (burning wood + running water = perfect), and the forested seclusion. We do cabin airbnbs a couple times a year and this remains our favorite spot. Zero wifi or cell signal at the cabin (which we count as a plus), great hiking from the front door.

My husband and I needed to get away and this was a perfect find! No cell, no internet, no tv. It was magical! The fireplace was so cozy, the views were spectacular and overall a fantastic experience.

Stone’s cabin was exactly like the listing entails. Quiet and serene with a very cozy and comfortable feeling. The property was absolutely gorgeous and is perfect for those looking to get away from everyday life. Chuck was extremely welcoming and inviting which added to the overall experience. We booked this location as it was conveniently located near some great fishing spots, but we ended up wanting to cut our days short to get back and relax fishing the stream and hanging around the cabin. Overall great experience- highly recommend!

If you are looking for the most peaceful and wonderful place to stay in the Green Mountains, Chuck’s place is for you. I could go on forever but let me just say this: quiet, peaceful, reflective, beautiful, serene, rejuvenating, lovely. If you are worried about it being off-grid, don’t be. You are away from the world, but close enough to town if you need anything. Plus hiking right from “home” is the best.
