The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived and just as shown in pictures. Brilliant location with amazing views of the sea. The host was every prompt in there responses and very helpful! Would highly recommend visiting this property.

Our stay in St. Ives was great. We were there with 9 people and felt very comfortable. If you are only traveling with adults, then the house is more suitable for a maximum of 7 people, but with children it is also good for nine. The furnishings and cleanliness leave nothing to be desired. The town is a very easy 5-minute walk away. In the high season it might be difficult to find a public parking lot nearby. But we would come back at any time.

If you’re looking for an affordable family rental within walking distance to central St Ives you will find this house accommodating, the lovely views are a plus as well- however, I visit St Ives almost every year and I will probably not be staying here again due to the following that are worth mentioning: we arrived on a cold March night to the heat not on and instructions for turning the heat on not clear. Owner was slow to respond so we were left freezing and troubleshooting ourselves. We are big cooks and don’t like to eat out every night. While the kitchen looks well equipped from pictures, we found it was lacking basics like salt and pepper and olive oil, which are usually included in all other air bnbs we’ve stayed at. Traveling from very far away to arrive at a house without even salt and pepper was definitely frustrating. Firewood was not included which was a bummer but we ended up buying some and leaving most of it for the next guest. It’s a precious house but lacking detail.
