房源位置

英国, 英格兰, 圣艾夫斯(St Ives)

Furthermore, you are perfectly situated to enjoy many of Cornwall's attractions by car. Around 30 mins away is the historic Minack theatre - an incredible theatre carved into the cliffs edge. Over the summer they show many productions, including Shakespeare and kids shows in the day, so check the schedule and book in advance! Lands end, Porthcurno, Flambard's Theme Park and the Seal Sanctuary can also all be reached within 30 mins.
Around 50 mins drive away is the Eden Project, but it is well worth the drive. Described by some as the 8th wonder of the world, 3 giant greenhouse biomes house artificial environments. Wonder through rainforest, Mediterranean, African climates and more! There are guided walks and many events on so again check the calendar.
Beaches:
Porthmeor Beach:
The town's largest beach Porthmeor has it all with great surf, good food & the famous Tate Gallery. You can learn to surf with a registered instructor or just take to the waves if you're already a pro. Just up from the beach is a bowling green & mini-golf to while away a couple of hours or perhaps you'd simply like to relax with a drink at the Porthmeor Beach Café.
Harbour Beach:
A very sheltered sandy beach at the far end of the harbour, perfect for children as the water is quite shallow. It is a fantastic sun-trap in the heart of the town.
Porthgwidden Beach:
Continue past the Harbour beach, follow the path along the waterfront and you'll find Porthgwidden beach — a small, sheltered, sandy cove with safe swimming. Enjoy a cream tea in the Porthgwidden Beach Café whilst watching your children play on the beach.
Porthminster Beach:
The gateway to St Ives town, Porthminster boasts a half mile long strip of golden yellow sand & crystal clear water. It offers safe swimming as well as organized beach activities for the children in the summer, mini-golf and the famous Porthminster Beach Café
Carbis Bay Beach:
Beautiful Carbis Bay offers safe bathing & is good for windsurfing & water-skiing. Lifeguards patrol during the summer.
Porthkidney Sands:
Between Carbis Bay & the Hayle estuary, Porthkidney is something of a local secret. There is a small car park next to the church at Lelant, but you can also walk there along the coast path from Carbis Bay. Lifeguards patrol during the summer.
