Spruce Lake Yurt was just the relaxing getaway we were looking for. The yurt was clean and cozy with a great view of the water. Laura was a very accommodating and responsive host! She even made it a point to ask if we were coffee or tea drinkers and decorated / left a handwritten card for the special occasion we were celebrating. We can’t wait to stay again!

It was an amazing vacation , it was the perfect camping experience with everything we needed as spoiled campers. Laura and Rick were wonderful and helped with all our questions and even with stating the fire:) Super recommended!

5 stars for spruce lake yurt! We stayed for my 30th birthday celebration and Laura included really thoughtful touches like apple cake, a handmade card, and balloons... I was so surprised. I wish we would’ve planned for longer than one night to really enjoy all of the wonderful things that Laura’s property had to offer- we were able to go out on the paddle boats, my niece enjoyed the water trampoline, we grilled, had a fire, and had a shadow puppet show for the kids in the yurt- they loved it! I loved that we didn’t have to pack too much because the rental had so much already taken care of like firewood, games, life jackets, etc. truly a “glamping” experience. We had a thunderstorm that night and I enjoyed watching the lightning through the starlight window and hearing the sounds of the rain, it was very peaceful. In the morning we were greeted by a giant friendly turkey and the kids got a kick out of that too. Overall, great stay and way to celebrate!

Words can’t truly express our absolutely beautiful stay at Laura and Rick’s Yurt! It is truly a slice of heaven! My family and I had THE BEST stay spending quality time at this peaceful and fun-filled place! Thank you greatly again for your 10/10 hospitality! We cannot wait to come back! 🤍

Rick and Laura were friendly and welcoming. Quick to answer questions and provide support. The yurt was very nice; clean and secure from the elements. However, the yard and patio are in no way private. You are right up against another property openly facing the whole set-up. That being said, we were unbothered for the most part. The little dogs were cute, but the neighboring turkeys were loud and intrusive making for a lot of poop in the yard. Big dogs in the neighborhood made walking off the property a bit stressful. The grill stopped working, (it was very windy) so we took the opportunity to go out and explore the local area. We had a great time and enjoyed paddleboating around the lily pond with our little one! Thank You!
