My husband turned 40 a few days earlier and I wanted to give him time away from our busy lives. We are always on the go and forget to enjoy life for what it is. Staying at Bonnie Doone was exactly what we needed! It was secluded, quiet and absolutely beautiful. It was a cold evening but the blanket warmer was helpful. It did shut off about 4am so we woke up a little chilly but they provided plenty of blankets. I think my only recommendation would be to have some sort of a radio so we can enjoy some music while sitting by the fire. Other than that we had a wonderful time and will definitely book again in the warmer months! Thanks for a wonderful stay at Bonnie Doone!

I took my husband here for a birthday surprise, it was a wonderful, cute little place. It was clean, quiet and had everything we needed for a night away! Unfortunately for us the weather got bad. Between the wind and rain it was hard for us to keep warm. They did provide a little heater for us but unfortunately we could not leave it running all night due to the fumes, and of course the rain made it impossible for us to keep a fire going. We managed to have some dinner and a few drinks and enjoyed ourselves while we could, but we did end up leaving earlier than we would have liked. We definitely want to come back and experience a whole night when the weather is better, rather than just the evening. We appreciated everything still. We recommend this place if you’re looking for a night or couple nights away from the noise of city life!

Bonnie Doon Glamping was an unforgettable experience! I cannot recommend it enough! Such a peaceful and beautiful place!

Jonathan and Sally’s space is beautiful. The layout was so well thought out, from the positioning of the fire pit to overlook the water, to the interior of the tent having an incredibly luxurious feel. It was all decorated beautifully and very romantic. They provided more than we anticipated as far as things like utensils, towels, shower items and kitchen supplies. They were incredibly helpful and provided us with additional items we needed as well like a battery pack for the heated blanket. During our stay we heard an animal and we messaged Jonathan and Sally and they came to us within 10 minutes of us asking to make sure we were not in danger which was greatly appreciated. During our stay it rained and we knew it would so we brought our own canopy for over the fire and it worked out really well for us and allowed us to use that space when we wouldn’t have been able to otherwise. We can’t wait to go back! We truly enjoyed our stay.

We have been home for a week and are still thinking about this place. It is the perfect glamping spot. It is quiet and private. The tent is huge, the bed is extremely comfy. That shower.. it will be better than your shower at home. Will definitely stay again!
