RIck is an extraordinary host and the Carriage House 1893 is a true Gem. By far, the best Air BnB I've ever stayed at. The place is gorgeous and so lovingly and expertly restored and maintained. It was a real treat to stay there. Perfectly designed for 2-4 people with two good sized bedrooms each with their own private bath. The neighborhood was perfect. Close to so many things including a beautiful waterfront part yet tucked away and quiet. The backyard was a lovely place to eat, play croquet, and longue in the sun. Rick is exceptional. He goes the extra-mile to make sure your stay is great and you will feel most welcomed.

I had such a nice time at Rick’s place. The rooms are spacious and really comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked. Beds are comfortable and the whole place is pretty and quaint without making you feel like you don’t dare touch anything! The neighborhood is lovely and safe and Rick was quickly responsive to any questions. I will definitely book again next time I’m in Tampa!

We throughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Rick was a very gracious host. The Air b & b was so comfortable, safe, accurately described, and exactly what we were looking for. The mattresses and new pillows were very comfortable and made for a good nights sleep throughout our stay. We really loved the outside patio. It had a perfect enclosed area for grilling and outside activities. Theres a wonderful fenced area available if you have a pet. The house, kitchen, and bathrooms were well stocked with everything that we needed. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay. Not only was Rick a wonderful host but a genuinely good natured person, and it was a joy meeting and talking with him.

Rick was a great host, he greeted us the moment we got there and immediately recommended local spots. He was kind enough to let us know there was an air show at the air force base the moment we booked with him! The house was cozy and spotless. The furniture and decor fit right in with the renovated carriage house. We would definitely come back if we return to the area!!😊
