This is my go-to airbnb in Tacloban. Ronny and Fire's place is just outside the downtown area, easily walking distance to town and Robinsons North mall and North bus terminal. The major advantages are the location and the community kitchen area with fridge and cooking facilities, and Ronny and Fire are great hosts, very sociable and knowledgeable of the local area and region.

The fan room was so humid, can't even open the window for ventilation. To make it worse, they do not have water source.

Ron and his wife were very friendly and helpful. Their place is the best location I've found so far for shopping and other activities in Downtown Tacloban.

The hosts are very nice and the apartment is fine. Actually, this is the best value for money if you want your own kitchen. The location is absolutely perfect for me - right next door to Robinsons mall, surrounded by small eateries, next to the bus terminals and tricycles, GCash, laundry, roasted chicken vendors, and 10 minutes walk (or trike ride) from the market and of course, downtown. Location, kitchen, value-for-money, this is the best place available. I recommend communicating with Ron and Fire ahead of making your booking to discuss which room is best to book for your needs, as they have a couple of rooms available and they're quite different.
