Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, this is a perfect representation of the region drawing on coastal and farmhouse themes you can relax from the balcony and look out on the manicured vegetable garden, feed our resident chickens, or just seat back in front of one of the two free standing fire places . Perfect long or short term stay, with family or friends to get to know the area visiting some of the regions most beautiful beaches, hikes, wineries and restaurants. A block of 1000m2 in a tranquil area in Bittern. The main house features 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 10-11 people ans we have the option to add on a little studio if you need a 5th bedroom. The full property can sleep up to 13 guests. The frontyard has a kids area with a trampoline and a sandpit for the kids to enjoy. Enjoy some fresh egg from our chickens or some greens from the veggie garden. The decking in the backyard has a fan and blinds which makes the space perfect to enjoy it in summer and winter.

Lovely base from which to explore the Peninsula. Very comfortable and peaceful, with a beautiful and well-stocked kitchen. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely time staying here and made some great new memories on the Peninsula. The house had everything we needed to ensure our stay was comfortable with just a short drive to beaches, shops, wineries and other activities. It has a great sized front/backyard for kids to run around and play, particularly the trampoline was a big hit!

I had a wonderful stay at Maria and Sonya's place. I look forward to booking this on Airbnb again. A beautiful home with all the amenities and convenience plus the two sweetest chickens roaming around. I recommend this home for anyone looking for peace and comfort.
We travelled to Bittern for a friend’s wedding / family getaway with an energetic 14 month old. We loved it here because it’s a beautiful space and very child-friendly! It’s not easy to find such a child-friendly accomodation so I think this is a gem.

Quite area in a residential area of Bittern. Not noise after 10pm and be respectful with the neighbours.
Super easy parking in the house or street parking.
Under 10 min drive to Somers and Balnarring Beach and 10-20 to the wineries!
Mornington is 20-25min away.
Peninsula Hot Springs 30min away in a beautiful drive
Hard to find a taxi an uber but yoh can organise it in advance.

We are Byron and Maria, an Australian/Spanish couple living with our son Ander, Juan, a Spanish water dog a bit barky but he does love cuddles and our 2 chickens Andrea and Frosty. We love meeting new people and familiarising ourselves with different cultures, hence our love for travelling and hosting Airbnb, living and visiting more than 50 countries between us. We moved back from Madrid to the Mornington Peninsula in 2017 and fell in love with the area and lifestyle. We loved hosting over in Spain so have decided to airbnb our modern hut located in the backyard of the main property. We are massive foodies and grow a lot of our own produce, we love the beach and our hobbies include surfing, bush walks, yoga, tennis, visiting local wineries and farm gates. Looking forward to meeting you! We will do our best to make your stay comfortable and help enjoy the Mornington peninsula to the fullest.
