Bucasia Beach Holiday Home is a 3 bd, 1 bath 1960s beach house. Prioritising families travelling to Mackay for birth, medical treatment. Sleeping 6 people comfortably, we offer families a home away from home. 200m to the park, Cafe, Bus Stop and the beautiful Sunset Bay Beach. 2 min drive to Hibiscus Shopping Centre. Bucasia is a 15 min drive to both private and public hospitals. Plenty of Yard secure parking for boats/vans Enclosed yard for dogs, (side fences 1200m front fence 900m) Bedroom 1 Queen bed , storage, side tables, plenty of power points, aircon, ceiling fan Bedroom 2 Queen bed, storage, side tables, cot set up, ceiling fan, no aircon Bedroom 3 Single bed, King single bed, kids play area, desk, storage, ceiling fan, no aircon Bathroom Bath/Shower, toiletries Laundry Washing machine, iron, cleaning equipment Kitchen Set up for 6 person cutlery/plates. I took my family of 6 for a surprise weekend away to attend an event in Mackay Dave’s house was perfect in every way, spacious, well presented and we loved the information board of what the locals had to offer. Very appreciative of the flexibility of our check in and check out times. Can’t wait to come back and hopefully stay for a whole week. We had a lovely nights stay and really loved everything about the house.
David and Sari’s Beach house is so delightful. Easy walk to the most beautiful beach and the park near the beach is fabulous for kids or having a picnic. The house is very well equipped and the beds are super comfortable with lovely bed linen. There is a great outdoor area with a good BBQ and the biggest backyard for the kids to run around. The house has such a lovely feel to it and made us feel so relaxed during our stay. Communication with the owner Dave was very easy so all in all a very enjoyable stay. This sure is a great place to stay in Bucasia and the Mackay area. Absolutely recommend!!!!
Enjoyed our few days while bathroom was getting renovated. Great location.

Walking distance to most features. Bikes / Scooters at house to use. 5km bike track nearby. Public bus stop near house, Courtesy bus to Northern Beaches Bowls Club.

Bucasia Beach Holiday House was established to assist families travelling to Mackay for birth or medical treatment. But also for all travelling families to enjoy. Excellent access to park boats/van Small/Med size dogs are welcome with the enclosed yard. The house is in a quiet,peaceful street only 2 mins walk from Sunset Bay, Bucasia Esplanade & 300mt from the boat ramp/beach.
