The host or hosts, thought of everything; the property is well stocked for any need and eventuality. The space was great for a large family dinner, and I had enough dishes and cutlery to set a beautiful table. The space is as advertised, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great stay! Got in late at night and woke up to the beautiful beach which was a close walk out the back yard. Plenty of space and great back yard with games and fire pit. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The house and location was nice. Overall worst air bnb experience. The host informed us that the house would not be ready in time because the cleaners were still working. We had a baby and three full cars en route and I was texted thirty minutes before regarding this. I was driving and insisted on a phone call because I felt unsafe texting I never received a phone call instead the host kept texting. At the same time if you check out one minute past 11am you get charged 200/hr. We were not offered any compensation. The host said we can check in but the house would be untidy. Finally they say actually we can check in upstairs because that would be ready in time (floors were soaked from mopping). The play pen was filled with an inch of dust, the downstairs bathroom had black mold in it and the ceiling leaked yellow water onto my mom’s 60th birthday cake. There were a lot of house rules that were easy for us to follow but threats for extra charges and cameras in the backyard.

The house is terrific! with a great layout, excellent furniture, and nice decor. The view of the lake from the upper deck is gorgeous, and it was great being able to walk straight out the backyard gate to the trail and beach. During our two-night stay, the hot tub was great the first evening but wasn't working the second evening. The beds and pillows were comfortable, but a wooden slat on the King bed broke while we were there, and we found a previously broken slat lying on the floor under the bed. We let Amanda know about these issues the next morning when we were checking out -- she was apologetic and was planning to look into them right away. We were disappointed not to be able to use the firepit -- we hadn't realized we'd need to bring our own firewood. And also the firepit was full of cigarette butts. We appreciated lots of nice little touches, like bathrobes, coat hooks, and an abundance of plates, mugs, etc. Overall it was an wonderful stay.

Hamilton Beach is a great area with a boardwalk that follows the lake front all the way to Burlington. We are just a few steps to the beach and to Lake Ontario. Just down the boardwalk you can enjoy restaurants, food trucks, go karts, water parks, and so much more.

Bring your own bikes, roller blades, long boards, etc to use on the boardwalk. There are also Uber and Lyft drivers in the area. Our property has space for 3 vehicles to park. There are 2 adult bikes available for use.
