Great place! The rooms are more spacious than they appear in photos. The cabin itself is off the highway a couple hundred yards down a peaceful gravel driveway that cuts through the woods to the beautiful log cabin nestled on the hillside above the Patoka River -- quite beautiful. I don't know how much land belongs to the owners, but it feels like you are in a completely private paradise of dozens of wooded acres. We were there in very early spring, so it is possible to see a farmhouse through the trees down the hillside, about 1/4 mile away, but when the leaves are on the trees, this is probably not possible. Though it is a log cabin, it feels extremely modern on the inside with a beautiful kitchen and bathroom, as well as a hot tub on a large deck overlooking the river (with grill). There is a pull-out bed in the couch downstairs. Other comments mention no bathroom access from upstairs bedroom and dimness of lights. These are true factors, but don't let them keep you from this stay!

Absolutely relaxing in a beautiful setting. Very comfortable furniture and bed with all the amenities needed. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor fires and the hot tub over looking the river. We highly recommend the stay. Logan responded quickly when needed to help light the fire place and was very helpful and friendly. He even let us stay at the property to watch the solar eclipse after our check out time which saved us so much trouble.

Nice and tidy location in its own little private section of the woods with its own private drive drive away from the main road. Very clean location. Logan answered anything I had to question or share very promptly.

Such a beautiful secluded property. Went with my sister for some much needed time away from the city to just chill. We had some difficulty getting connected to wifi and when we drove to town for groceries we sent message to Logan that we could not get connected. He responded immediately that he would be out to figure out what the issue was. We got back to the cabin and just shortly thereafter he arrived. Helped us get connected. A very gracious host. Very much enjoyed our stay. Visited French Lick Casino and won big on slots!!!! Thanks Logan, and a special thanks to Myron for coming to check out the gas fireplace and getting that going. :)
