Eclectic, tasteful, thoughtful, beautiful, practical, comfortable -- I could go on and on! Local recommendations were spot on and the cabin itself was incredibly serene. Such a lovely place to tuck away with furry companions. Can't wait to visit again :)

Elsie’s view was perfect! I wanted to take my husband for a quiet getaway for his birthday and it was a success! This place has unique modern/vintage decor and clean! They have a fantastic classic cassette player and wonderful collection of tapes! We were so impressed with the quality and selection of music! We had a blast listening to great music! We were excited that there was a river a small walk away in the backyard! We especially enjoyed opening the bedroom window at night to fall asleep to the sound of the river. This place was a great location to Hood River and white Salmon! Good beer/wine tasting and restaurants near by. I also love that this place is a pet friendly Airbnb cause our little frenchie is our everything and love to take her everywhere lol! For this place being a pet friendly you would never know because it was so clean and smelled fresh! Stephanie & Steve are great hosts! Gave great details about the house, great response and recommendations! We will be back!

My partner and I had the most memorable and relaxing weekend in this beautiful home. The cabin and the surrounding property are amazing and we feel grateful for the time we got to spend here. You can tell that a ton of care went into the space and the guest experience. It feels very private and remote, but it’s about 10 minutes from the little town of White Salmon and about 20 to Hood River so there is plenty to do if you want to get out. Very dog friendly as well! We were very sad to leave but we are looking forward to staying here again.

I loved the access to short walking paths along the White Salmon River out the back door. The contemporary scandi interior design with lots of wood made for a cozy and peaceful environment for me to relax.

Just a beautiful place to spend a few days! The leaves were in full color and there are views from every window. What Stephanie and Steve have done with this historic cabin is remarkable! We’d love to come back.
