It's a great little place to stay. Perfect for a couple or single person needing something comfortable in the area. The flat itself was exactly as described and matched the pictures perfectly. We would definitely look to stay here again when we're next up visiting family.

We booked Flyt’s place last minute before our trip to Scotland. While booking we had mentioned there would be 3 people staying for 2 nights and even then there was no bed linen, blankets and pillows available for the sofa bed. The Wi-Fi code mentioned wasn’t available. There was no additional toilet paper in the house, just less than half a roll when we arrived! Apart from the above, the house was clean and the host was responsive and arranged for the bed linen the next day.

Douglas is an idyllic village not far from Glasgow, surrounded by gorgeous countryside and still containing much of its ancient medieval past. St Bride's Church still stands proudly over the village, and just a short walk or drive away are the ruins of Douglas Castle, a fortress with an amazing history: not only was it fought over constantly between the Scottish and the English, but it was also where Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed before the Battle of Culloden.
